1. Are Lacteeze® products gluten free?
Yes, the Lacteeze line of products are 100% gluten free.
2. When should I (or my child) take the tablets?
The tablets should be taken just prior to consuming foods with dairy.
3. How many tablets should I take?
Each person varies. We suggest beginning with one and increasing the dose if symptoms still persist.
4. What if my child accidentally takes more tablets?
Nothing. There are no side effects and the enzyme will just pass through his/her system.
5. Will the taste of milk treated with the drops change?
Yes, the taste will be sweeter.
6. What type of milk can the drops be used for?
The drops can be used for skim, 1%, 2%, cream and whole milk.
7. Will the quantity of drops I use change based on the milk we consume?
No, they all contain approximately the same amount of lactose. The amount of drops used will depend on your level of lactose intolerance.
8. What percentage of lactose is converted with the drops?
Five drops will convert 70-80% of the lactose while 15 drops will convert nearly all of it.
9. If the symptoms persist, what should I do?
Try refrigerating the milk for an additional 24 hours or increase the amount of drops. If that doesn’t work, consult your physician.
